SCREEN TIME THAT TEACHES

Your kids don't need less screen time.
They need to learn how to manage it.

Earned turns screen time into a token economy. Kids earn tokens from productive apps, spend them on entertainment, and trade them for real gift cards from Xbox, Spotify, Amazon, and 2,500+ brands.

Three steps to smarter screen time

1

Set the Rules

Choose which apps earn tokens and which ones cost tokens. You decide the rates.

2

Kids Earn & Spend

A real-time balance that grows when they use productive apps and shrinks with entertainment. Balance hits zero, spending apps are blocked.

3

Unlock Real Rewards

Kids trade tokens for real gift cards from Xbox, Spotify, Amazon, Roblox, and 2,500+ brands.

Everything you need, nothing you don't

A Real Budget, Not a Timer

Most apps set a hard time limit and slam the door shut. Earned gives your child a token balance that grows with productive activity and shrinks with entertainment. They learn to budget, not just comply.

Gift Cards They Actually Want

Xbox, Spotify, Amazon, Roblox, and 2,500+ more brands. When your child earns enough tokens, they can trade them for real gift cards delivered straight to the app. Real incentives drive real behavior change.

You Stay in Control

Set earning and spending rates per app, top up tokens any time, and see your child's full activity history. Adjust the rules as they grow. The goal is autonomy, not surveillance.

Questions parents ask

Is this just another screen time limiter?

No. Traditional limiters set a hard cap and block everything when time runs out. Earned uses a token economy: kids earn tokens by using productive apps (like educational tools) and spend tokens on entertainment apps. They learn to manage their screen time like a budget, not just hit a wall.

What ages is Earned designed for?

Earned works best for children aged 8-17. Younger children benefit from the visual token balance, while older teens appreciate the gift card rewards and independence. Parents can adjust earning/spending rates as their child matures.

How do the gift cards work?

Parents create rewards in the Token Shop, setting how many tokens each gift card costs. When your child earns enough tokens, they can redeem them for real gift cards from 2,500+ brands including Xbox, Spotify, Amazon, and Roblox. The gift card code is delivered directly within the app. Parents control which rewards are available and their token cost.

Is my child's data safe?

Absolutely. Earned only tracks which apps are used and for how long. We never collect message content, screenshots, keystrokes, browsing history, or any personal content from your child's device. All data is encrypted and stored securely on Firebase infrastructure. We follow a strict privacy-first approach.

Is Earned available on iPhone?

Earned is currently available for Android devices. iOS support is on our roadmap. The parent app will be available on both platforms, but the child device agent requires Android due to the usage monitoring and enforcement capabilities needed.

Is Earned free?

Yes, Earned is free to download and use. The core token economy, earning/spending rules, and screen time management features are completely free. Gift card rewards are purchased by parents at face value with no markup.

Can my child game the system?

Earned's balance is managed in the cloud, not on the device. Your child can't tamper with their token balance or bypass the enforcement. That said, we prefer gentle enforcement over invasive monitoring. The goal is to teach budgeting, not create an arms race.
